Early Years Teacher

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join Genesis Tutors in Marina, Nigeria. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality, age‑appropriate lessons and creating a nurturing environment that supports the holistic development of young children. The successful candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to fostering a love of learning. You will work closely with families to monitor progress and ensure each child receives personalized attention, while maintaining accurate records of development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the early years curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating classroom that promotes each child’s development.
• Observe, record and assess children’s progress, identifying individual learning needs.
• Provide targeted support to address identified needs.
• Encourage social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth through varied activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Education or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching early years or preschool children.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development principles.
