Driver

About the role

E-Direct is hiring a full-time driver based in Lagos, Marina. The driver must follow traffic laws and company driving policies, deliver assigned items safely and accurately, and report daily activities to the supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Comply with traffic laws, road safety regulations and company driving policies, observe speed limits and keep safe distances.
• Never drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other impairing substances, and avoid reckless driving, unnecessary speeding and distractions.
• Ensure passengers use seat belts and check the vehicle is safe before every journey.
• Report traffic incidents, accidents and road hazards promptly.
• Maintain accurate trip, destination, mileage, fuel consumption and expense records, and submit fuel receipts and approved expense records.
• Report daily activities and completed assignments to the supervisor, and inform management of delays, route changes, vehicle problems or other issues affecting duties.
• Keep company documents and information confidential and ensure all assigned items reach the correct people or places.

Required profile

• Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle category being driven.
• Practical driving experience.
• Previous experience as a company, executive or professional driver is an advantage.
