Driver Acquisition Officer – HiGO

About the role

HiGO, a fast‑growing ride‑hailing platform, is looking for energetic Driver Acquisition Officers to expand its driver network across Abuja. You will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and retaining qualified drivers, helping the company deliver safe and reliable transportation services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, recruit and onboard qualified drivers onto the HiGO platform.
• Conduct field engagement activities in strategic locations to acquire new drivers.
• Educate prospective drivers on earnings, incentives, and operational policies.
• Guide drivers through registration, documentation, verification and activation.
• Organise driver sensitisation sessions and onboarding campaigns.
• Build and maintain relationships with transport unions, fleet owners, garages and driver communities.
• Achieve weekly and monthly driver acquisition targets.
• Maintain accurate records and provide performance reports.
• Gather market intelligence and competitor insights to support growth strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum OND, HND or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, field operations or customer acquisition.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Good knowledge of Abuja’s transportation ecosystem (preferred).
• Fluency in Hausa is an added advantage.
