Dispatch Manager – B2C Supply Chain

About the role

The Dispatch Manager is responsible for ensuring seamless, efficient, and cost‑effective outbound logistics and transportation services. You will coordinate loading and dispatch activities so that products reach customers quickly, in the right quantity, and in excellent condition while complying with company policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in developing and implementing annual logistics plans, work programs, and budgets.
• Coordinate and manage all dispatch operations to ensure timely loading, truck turnaround, and customer deliveries.
• Monitor logistics performance, identify process gaps, and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Ensure all transportation and dispatch activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company requirements.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, transporters, and third‑party logistics providers to facilitate smooth operations.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, dispatch, and warehouse operations.
• Excellent planning, scheduling, and coordination capabilities.
• Sound analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on operational performance improvement.

Required skills

• B.Sc. or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transport Management, or related discipline.
• Professional certification in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution environments is a plus.
