Director of Operations – Integrated Logistics Services

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to launch and run a new Integrated Logistics Services division in Nigeria. The Director of Operations will be responsible for building the business from the ground up, securing contracts, delivering services, and managing the full P&L.

Key responsibilities

• Originate, negotiate and close logistics service contracts with IOCs, EPCI firms and operators.
• Develop and maintain a commercial pipeline, define pricing structures and contract frameworks.
• Ensure service level agreements are met across supply base management, warehousing, customs, freight, marine logistics and materials management.
• Own the division’s P&L, set revenue and margin targets, control costs and report financial performance.
• Recruit, develop and retain a high‑performing logistics team and establish clear governance.
• Guarantee compliance with Nigerian regulations, local content rules and maritime requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in oil & gas logistics, supply base management or related field operations.
• Extensive experience working in Nigeria and proven relationships with IOCs and operators.
• Demonstrated ability to lead commercial negotiations and manage a profit‑and‑loss centre.
• Track record of building and scaling new business units.
