About the role
Brendan Nicholas Holdings (BNH) is seeking a Director of Investment to lead its Agriculture and Food Systems desk. This founding appointment will build the desk’s portfolio from the first company onward.
Key responsibilities
- Hold the mandate for the desk and report directly to the Managing Director.
- Appoint the chief executive and constitute the board of each portfolio company.
- Present capital cases to the Investment Committee and set the desk’s overall strategy.
- Originate and acquire new companies for the desk’s portfolio.
Required profile
- Experience taking an asset from origination through to operation.
- Decision‑making authority over capital allocations and board construction.
- Ability to bring regulators, development finance institutions and industrial counterparties together around a single asset.
