Director of Clinical Research Operations

About the role

The Director of Clinical Research Operations will lead the planning, execution, and oversight of all clinical research activities at NexGen Research Ltd. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this senior position ensures compliance, quality, and efficiency across the research portfolio while supporting strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, supervise, and develop the clinical research team.
• Design and implement operational workflows, policies, and performance metrics.
• Support regulatory submissions and manage documentation in line with GCP guidelines.
• Coordinate data management, quality assurance, and reporting activities.
• Assist with budgeting, financial reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Develop SOPs and drive quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Oversee administrative functions and technology adoption.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and cross‑functional departments.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare, scientific, business, accounting, public health, or related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Experience with international organizations and knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD, MBBS) is a plus.
