Corporate Sales Branch Head

About the role

Prudential Zenith Life Insurance is hiring a Corporate Sales Branch Head in Ibadan and Oyo State. The role drives strategic sales plans to meet individual and branch targets, acquires new corporate clients through direct channels, partnerships and public sector accounts, and manages broker relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and drive strategic sales plans to meet individual and branch targets.
• Prospect, pitch and convert new corporate clients via direct channels, partnerships and public sector accounts.
• Manage and grow broker relationships to improve lead flow and conversion quality.
• Identify and process bid and RFP opportunities and ensure timely submissions.
• Pitch PZL products to banks, co-underwriters, ZGIC, insurance partners and institutional clients.
• Manage corporate client relationships, ensuring value delivery and retention, and provide proactive support on issues, renewals and client servicing.
• Prepare weekly reports, monthly MPR inputs and pipeline updates.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with underwriting, operations and customer service to support seamless onboarding.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in corporate sales, insurance or financial services.
• CIIN certification (in progress or completed) is an advantage; additional sales or relationship management training is desirable.

Required skills

• Strong B2B selling, pitching and negotiation ability.
• Good understanding of corporate life insurance (Group Life, Credit Life, Mortgage Protection).
• Strong stakeholder management with brokers, banks and institutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong reporting, market analysis and forecasting skills.
