Direct Sales Representative

About the role

The Direct Sales Representative will work on‑site in Abuja, driving new business by identifying prospects, presenting HENRIKEN CONSULTING’s products and services, and closing sales. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a high‑quality experience from first contact through post‑sale support.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify new customers through in‑person meetings and networking.
• Deliver product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client needs.
• Negotiate terms, close deals and achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads and customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Provide responsive customer service, gather feedback and address issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the sales team to refine strategies and share market insights.
• Support client training sessions on product usage when required.
• Participate in promotional events to enhance brand awareness.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building rapport and conducting negotiations.
• Proven sales experience with prospecting, pipeline management and deal closure in a target‑driven environment.
• Customer‑service orientation with the ability to resolve inquiries and ensure satisfaction.
• Capability to train customers on product use and support onboarding.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Self‑motivated, organized and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM tools for tracking leads and sales activities.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
