Direct Sales Agent

About the role

The Direct Sales Agent will work on‑site in Abuja to drive sales and revenue growth for Henriken Consulting Limited and its client organisations. This full‑time position involves prospecting new customers, presenting services, and guiding prospects through the sales process to secure long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective clients in Abuja and surrounding areas.
• Deliver product and service presentations to potential customers.
• Follow up leads, negotiate terms and convert prospects into long‑term clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, handling inquiries and providing timely information.
• Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine offerings and improve service delivery.
• Achieve and exceed defined sales targets while representing the company professionally.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Customer‑service orientation with the ability to manage inquiries and concerns.
• Fundamental understanding of finance concepts such as pricing and payment terms.
• Proven experience in direct, field or business‑development sales, preferably in professional services or consulting.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and handle multiple client engagements.
• Minimum diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field (advantageous).

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with digital tools and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
