Digital Product Manager

About the role

Learn Africa Plc, a leading educational publisher in Nigeria, is looking for an experienced Digital Product Manager to shape and grow its digital education portfolio. This strategic, hands‑on position will turn the company’s curriculum expertise and publishing strength into scalable, commercially viable digital products for schools, teachers, students and parents.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously evolve the digital product roadmap.
• Conduct user and market research across schools, teachers, students, parents, distributors and internal teams.
• Audit existing digital products, platforms, content systems, vendors and technology initiatives.
• Translate business goals and user needs into product requirements, user journeys, PRDs, user stories, backlogs and execution plans.
• Coordinate developers, designers, technology vendors and external partners.
• Manage product discovery, prioritisation, testing, launches, feedback loops and ongoing improvement.
• Define and track metrics such as adoption, engagement, retention, customer satisfaction, revenue and operational efficiency.
• Communicate product direction, progress, risks and recommendations to senior management and cross‑functional teams.
• Support build, buy or partner decisions for key digital initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in product management, digital product development or related digital environments (edtech, SaaS, fintech, media technology, e‑commerce).
• Proven track record of building, launching or improving digital products, platforms, mobile applications or technology‑enabled services.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance user needs, business goals, cost, timelines and technical constraints.
• Experience working with developers, designers, vendors, business teams and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently.
