Digital Product Manager (EdTech)

About the role

Learn Africa Plc is looking for an experienced Digital Product Manager to lead the creation, launch and growth of its digital education portfolio. The role combines strategic vision with hands‑on execution to turn curriculum expertise and publishing strength into scalable, commercially viable digital products for schools, teachers, students and parents.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the digital product roadmap, from concept through launch and continuous improvement.
• Conduct user and market research across schools, teachers, students, parents, distributors and internal teams.
• Audit existing digital products, platforms, content systems, vendors and technology initiatives.
• Translate business goals and user needs into product requirements, user journeys, PRDs, user stories, backlogs and execution plans.
• Coordinate developers, designers, technology vendors and external partners.
• Manage product discovery, prioritisation, testing, launches, feedback loops and post‑launch iteration.
• Define and track metrics on adoption, engagement, retention, customer satisfaction, revenue and operational efficiency.
• Communicate product direction, progress, risks and recommendations to senior management and cross‑functional teams.
• Support build, buy or partner decisions for key digital initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in product management, digital product development or related digital environments such as edtech, SaaS or e‑commerce.
• Proven track record of building, launching and improving digital products, platforms, mobile applications or technology‑enabled services.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance user needs, business goals, cost, timelines and technical constraints.
• Experience working with developers, designers, vendors and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and create structure in an evolving digital product environment.
