Dialysis Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Dialysis Nurse to deliver high‑quality care to patients undergoing hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis. The role involves direct patient interaction, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring safe operation of dialysis equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ vital signs before, during and after dialysis sessions.
• Administer hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments according to protocols.
• Evaluate laboratory results and communicate findings to the medical team.
• Maintain dialysis machines and related equipment in proper working order.
• Document nursing care plans and update patient records.
• Notify physicians promptly of any adverse reactions or complications.
• Collaborate with dialysis technicians to set up and troubleshoot equipment.
• Educate patients and families on home dialysis procedures, kidney disease management, nutrition and exercise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in nursing.
• Valid nursing license.
• Certification from the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Proven experience as a dialysis nurse.
