Intern Pharmacist – Telepharmacy & Medication Management

About the role

The Intern Pharmacist will join Gleeworld Pharmacy’s telepharmacy team in Lekki, supporting daily pharmacy operations and patient‑centered medication services. Working on‑site, the intern will gain hands‑on experience in prescription processing, medication counseling, and digital health platform usage.

Key responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in processing and verifying prescriptions under supervision.
• Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and adherence.
• Support telepharmacy consultations and medication delivery coordination.
• Maintain accurate dispensing records and help with inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and professional standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.

Required profile

• Enrollment in or recent completion of an accredited pharmacy program.
• Eligibility for, or progress toward, relevant professional licensure.
• Strong foundational pharmacy knowledge and interest in clinical and telepharmacy practice.
• Excellent communication and patient‑education skills.
• Attention to detail in prescription handling and documentation.
• Ability to work on‑site in Lekki and manage time in a fast‑paced environment.
