Deputy Chief of Staff

About the role

The Deputy Chief of Staff will work directly with the CEO of VETSARK Limited, a fast‑growing Nigerian protein‑supply agribusiness. This launch‑pad position is designed for an ambitious early‑career professional who wants to take ownership of high‑impact projects and quickly progress to a full Chief of Staff role.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the CEO’s top‑priority initiatives from brief to delivery, defining scope, milestones, owners and timelines.
• Coordinate inputs across departments and external partners to keep all workstreams on schedule.
• Design, track and maintain performance metrics and dashboards for Finance, Operations, Sales & Marketing, and Field teams.
• Run weekly and monthly performance review cycles, present insights and recommend actions.
• Develop and maintain external documents such as investor pitch decks, investment memos, board packs, grant applications and donor reports.
• Build and update financial models, revenue forecasts, unit economics and scenario analyses.
• Assemble data rooms and support due‑diligence activities for investors.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to senior leadership.
• Self‑starter who can work independently and manage multiple priorities.
