Data & Technology Manager – Green RISE Africa

About the role

Acumen is looking for an experienced Data & Technology Manager to lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the technology solution supporting the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) framework for the Green RISE Africa program. The role is based in the Nairobi or Lagos office and requires regular onsite presence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain and enhance the technology stack for programmatic MEL, including Salesforce, FormAssembly, Google Suite and AI‑powered tools.
• Identify and drive improvements in data collection, management, integration and reporting processes.
• Collaborate closely with the Impact Manager (MEL) and other Impact & Insight staff to align technology solutions with program objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and support to regional teams across seven countries.
• Ensure data quality, security and compliance with organizational standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in data, system operations or technology leadership.
• Strong expertise in Salesforce applications and data management.
• Demonstrated ability to work onsite in Nairobi or Lagos at least three days per week.
• Experience with AI‑enabled tools and enterprise software solutions is a plus.
