Data Entry Clerk

About the role

A Data Entry Clerk position based in Nigeria, focused on scanning, correcting and organizing information, creating spreadsheets and keeping production data accurate and backed up.

Key responsibilities

• Scan through information to identify pertinent details and correct errors so they can be captured quickly and accurately.
• Create accurate spreadsheets and enter and update production information into relevant databases.
• Ensure data is backed up and store hard copies of data in an organized way for easy retrieval.
• Inform relevant parties about errors encountered.
• Handle additional duties from time to time.

Required profile

• Diploma in Computer Science, Data Entry or a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• Good command of English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to concentrate for long periods and work accurately and quickly.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel.
• Proficient typing skills.
