Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Specialist

About the role

The Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Specialist is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on cyber threat data to protect the organization’s information assets. This role supports proactive defense, incident response, and continuous improvement of threat intelligence processes.

Key responsibilities

• Collect threat intelligence from open sources, the dark web, and commercial feeds.
• Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and indicators of compromise (IOCs).
• Correlate external intelligence with internal security events and incidents.
• Produce detailed threat intelligence reports and briefings for stakeholders.
• Provide actionable intelligence to guide preventive security measures and detection strategies.
• Support incident response teams with threat actor profiling and TTP analysis.
• Collaborate with SOC analysts, forensic experts, and other security teams to share risk information.
• Stay current on emerging threats, tools, and frameworks, recommending improvements as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat intelligence analysis and reporting.
• Professional certifications such as CTI, CTIA, or equivalent are a plus.
• Fluent written and verbal English; additional languages are beneficial.

Required skills

• Threat intelligence platforms and tools.
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
• Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
• Familiarity with threat modeling frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and the Diamond Model.
