Cybersecurity & Penetration Tester – Onsite (Ikeja/Ogba)

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Cybersecurity and Penetration Tester to join our client’s security team in Ikeja/Ogba. You will play a key role in strengthening the organization’s security posture by proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities across applications, networks, cloud environments, and enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct authorized penetration tests on web, mobile, API, cloud, wireless, and infrastructure assets using black‑box, grey‑box and white‑box approaches.
• Execute red‑team exercises to evaluate detection and response capabilities.
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments, prioritize findings, and work with development and operations teams to ensure remediation.
• Review security configurations of firewalls, VPNs, endpoints, identity management, and access controls against best‑practice frameworks.
• Integrate security testing into the SDLC, including SAST and DAST for applications, APIs, and micro‑services.
• Support incident response investigations by identifying attack vectors and providing forensic insights.
• Prepare detailed reports with technical findings, business impact, proof‑of‑concept, and remediation recommendations for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong background in offensive security and ethical hacking.
• Hands‑on experience with penetration testing methodologies and red‑team engagements.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management processes and security frameworks.
• Ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to diverse audiences.
