Customer Service Officer

About the role

Jomav Homes is seeking a motivated Customer Service Officer to join its team in Ibadan. You will be the first point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, complaints, and transactions across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in‑person promptly and professionally.
• Resolve complaints and issues by identifying solutions and ensuring satisfaction.
• Provide accurate information on products, services, policies, and procedures.
• Process orders, returns, exchanges, refunds, and account updates.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions and transactions.
• Escalate complex cases to the appropriate department and follow up on resolution.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve the overall customer experience.
• Meet performance metrics such as response time, quality standards, and satisfaction targets.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Communication or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in customer service, call centre, or support (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm, professional, and solution‑oriented under pressure.
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new software.
