Credit Control Analyst

About the role

Manage and control the company’s credit portfolio, minimizing financial risk while supporting commercial growth. Act as a strategic partner by providing financial insights and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the customer credit portfolio, evaluate creditworthiness, set limits and monitor guarantees.
• Coordinate month‑end closing, reconciliations, debtor ageing analysis and prepare customer account statements.
• Monitor credit performance and payment behavior, delivering forecasts and recommendations to mitigate risk.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and IFRS requirements for ageing and bad‑debt provisions.
• Support debt recovery activities and improve credit controls and governance processes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Legal and Banking partners to manage credit releases and resolve disputes.
• Prepare periodic and ad‑hoc reports offering actionable insights on credit exposure, receivables and collection effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Finance or Risk Management.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, receivables management and financial analysis.
• Good understanding of IFRS, financial controls and governance requirements.
• Experience implementing credit policies and managing customer portfolios.
