Credit Control Analyst

About the role

FrieslandCampina is looking for a Credit Control Analyst to manage and control its credit portfolio across Nigeria. The role acts as a strategic partner to the business, providing financial insights and governance to support sustainable commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the customer credit portfolio and master data, ensuring documentation is accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Evaluate customer creditworthiness, set credit limits, monitor payment terms and financial guarantees, and enforce company credit policies.
• Coordinate month‑end closing activities, prepare financial reports and support the finance team with accurate credit‑related data.
• Drive debt recovery processes and support the implementation of credit policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Finance or Risk Management.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, receivables management and financial analysis.
• Experience with credit policy implementation, portfolio management and debt recovery.
• Good understanding of IFRS, financial controls and governance requirements.
• Advanced analytical and reporting abilities with proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills.
• FMCG experience is an advantage.
