About the role
The Credit and Finance Officer will drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, managing credit assessments, and overseeing loan portfolios. This role combines sales, marketing, and credit management to support the company's financial objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
- Generate leads and acquire clients for loans and investment products.
- Assess creditworthiness of potential clients and recommend appropriate credit facilities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals to attract new clients.
- Oversee the loan portfolio to ensure timely repayments and minimize defaults.
- Monitor accounts under management and apply sound credit judgment.
Required profile
- HND/BSc degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in sales, marketing, business development and credit management within financial services.
- Proven track record of achieving business development targets.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to make data‑driven decisions.
