Credit Analyst Officer

About the role

The Credit Analyst Officer will evaluate loan applications, assess credit risk and support the loan processing function for Generation Capital Limited. The role involves both credit assessment and debt recovery activities to ensure a healthy loan portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Review loan applications, analyse financial records, credit history and repayment capacity to determine creditworthiness.
• Prepare credit assessment reports, recommend approvals, rejections or adjustments in line with company policies.
• Monitor loan portfolios, follow up on overdue accounts and negotiate repayment arrangements.
• Escalate high‑risk or delinquent accounts to management and work with the legal team on recovery actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Mandatory completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
• 3–5 years of experience in credit analysis, credit control, loan administration or debt recovery within financial services.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.

What we offer

• Monthly remuneration of NGN 150,000 – 180,000 (negotiable)
