About the role
Koins Bank, a member of Primera Africa Group, is seeking a Credit Analyst to evaluate the creditworthiness of SME and private loan clients. The role involves analysing financial statements, assessing risk, and supporting loan decision‑making within a dynamic micro‑finance environment.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse financial statements, credit reports and related data to determine profitability, liquidity and leverage ratios of loan applicants.
- Assess credit risk, recommend loan amounts, limits, terms and appropriate collateral mixes.
- Conduct client interviews, gather financial information, and perform on‑site due‑diligence visits as required.
- Monitor loan portfolio performance, generate monthly reports on collection efficiency and loan status.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a credit analyst.
