Coverage Head, North West

About the role

The Coverage Head for the North West will optimise the Distribution/Client Coverage network for PPB AR, focusing on cost optimisation, digital migration and driving sales growth for targeted clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of Commercial Banking strategy through defined coverage plans, portfolio objectives and client‑growth initiatives.
• Drive profitable growth by acquiring target clients, increasing wallet share and deepening existing relationships.
• Establish performance scorecards, monitor execution against budget and strategic objectives, and ensure senior engagement with strategic clients.
• Coordinate integrated solutions across lending, trade finance, FX, treasury, insurance, cash management and digital banking.
• Lead pricing discipline, credit origination, portfolio reviews and risk management, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• First degree in Business, Commerce or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
• More than 15 years of progressive experience in Commercial, Corporate or Business Banking with extensive client coverage responsibility.
• 10+ years of relationship management, portfolio growth and strategic client management.
• 5+ years leading managers or multi‑layered coverage teams.
• Extensive executive stakeholder engagement and strategic business leadership experience.

Required skills

• Strong commercial banking and credit risk management expertise.
• Ability to develop and execute client relationship plans and integrated banking solutions.
• Proficiency in performance measurement, pricing discipline and regulatory compliance.
