Corporate Partnership & Growth Lead (Volunteer)

About the role

MentorMeInTech is seeking a passionate volunteer to lead corporate partnership and growth initiatives across Africa. In this role you will shape the organisation’s strategic alliances with companies, educational institutions and community partners, helping expand its free mentorship programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and secure corporate, community and ecosystem partners aligned with the mission.
• Develop partnership proposals, outreach strategies and negotiate collaboration terms.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with sponsors, collaborators and stakeholders.
• Represent MentorMeInTech at networking events and partnership meetings.
• Provide regular updates and reports on partnership activities and opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, sponsorships, sales or fundraising.
• Strong networking, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Passion for education, mentorship and technology.
• Commitment of at least 12 hours per week.
