Core Infrastructure Engineer – Managed WAN Services

About the role

The company is a fast‑growing network infrastructure startup in Nigeria. It is looking for a Core Infrastructure Engineer to own the day‑to‑day operation of its managed WAN services, which span fiber, LTE, satellite and microwave links.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a resilient, scalable Managed Services network across all delivery media.
• Produce daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly availability and performance reports.
• Analyse performance data to generate actionable insights for the business and clients.
• Coordinate with bandwidth vendors for testing, validation and integration of new circuits.
• Work closely with the NOC HelpDesk to detect outages, performance degradation and ensure SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver services on schedule and remediate issues quickly.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 1 month of relevant experience in network operations.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret performance metrics.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with vendors, internal teams and clients.
