Contract Manager – Marine Services

About the role

Smit Lamnalco, part of the Boskalis group, is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee marine support services for AfrikDelta Marine Limited in Nigeria. The role ensures contract delivery meets client expectations while maintaining safety, quality, and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contract execution to ensure professional, efficient, and cost‑effective operations.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure full satisfaction of contractual obligations.
• Conduct regular performance reviews against agreed parameters.
• Guarantee compliance with safety, security, SHEQ, and company policies.
• Oversee training, development, and performance appraisals of shore staff, captains, and chief engineers.
• Provide input for budgeting, monitor financial performance, and ensure contract budget targets are met.

Required profile

• Resident of Nigeria.
• Relevant marine operating experience with sea‑going background as Master or Chief Officer.
• In‑depth knowledge of marine industry and terminal operations.
• On‑shore management experience.
