Content & Social Media Assistant (Paid Internship)

About the role

Koko Internet is looking for a motivated, articulate and resourceful Content & Social Media Assistant to support its KOKO Brand. This is a full-time, on-site, paid 6-month internship based in Lagos, reporting to the Communications and Events Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Develop content topics that reach target customers
• Create, curate and manage published content (images, video and written)
• Monitor, listen to and respond to users in a social way while cultivating leads and followers
• Run online advocacy and set up streams for cross-promotion
• Help build and expand community and influencer outreach
• Design social profiles such as Facebook timeline cover and profile picture, and Twitter profile
• Create, manage and promote social ad campaigns
• Build and monitor online reviews and reputation, responding to each review
• Analyse key metrics, adjust strategy and compile reports for management showing results (ROI)

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a minimum of a 2:1 grade
• Has completed NYSC
• Ideally from a Mass Communication, Journalism and/or Marketing degree, though not essential
• Strong time and project management skills and a strong work ethic
• Initiative, able to work in a fast-paced team, confident and self-motivated
