The teacher designs lesson plans, integrates technology into the classroom and prepares students for internal and external assessments, helping them build technical proficiency, computational reasoning and hands-on computer skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prepare and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons
• Create lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives
• Integrate modern technology into instruction to maximise engagement and learning
• Instruct students on theory and practical skills using software, hardware and digital tools
• Assess, monitor and evaluate student progress, giving timely feedback
• Prepare students for internal and external exams through targeted instruction and revision
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and well-organised learning environment, including the computer laboratory
• Foster critical thinking, problem solving, creativity and digital literacy
• Adapt teaching to diverse learning styles and build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
• Follow school policies, curriculum standards and the professional code of conduct

Required profile

• Qualified and passionate background in Computer Science education
• Proven ability to write engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements
• Experience preparing students for internal and external examinations
• Ability to create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Excellent communication skills with students, parents and staff
