Community Manager

About the role

Famasi Africa is looking for a Community Manager who enjoys making videos, riding trends and creating content that truly connects with people. The role shapes the social content of Famasi and its sub-brands, including TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, and drives engagement, reach and conversion across platforms with weekly reports.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and publish content such as Reels, carousels, TikToks and blog snippets, using brand assets and voice guidelines.
• Schedule and distribute posts, cross-post across platforms and track what works; find new distribution channels.
• Reach out to partners, micro-creators and sex-positive communities for collaborations.
• Work with content creators to deliver 12 posts daily across Famasi and Talk to August.
• Keep light campaign calendars and turn in-app features into social-ready formats with the product/content team.
• Monitor performance, trends and communities to find organic opportunities.

Required profile

• Passion for video content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) and trend awareness.
• Clear writing adapted to different platforms and audiences, and excellent communication with customers and colleagues.
• Emotional stability, resilience and adaptability, with a respectful, collaborative attitude.
• Hybrid arrangement: on-site every day in the first month, then three days per week; living near Lekki is a bonus.

Required skills

• Comfort using scheduling tools.
• Editing with CapCut, Canva or similar.
