Communications Officer

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Communications Officer to lead the digital and public‑relations strategy for both the personal brand of Morenike Molehin and Oak & Teak, a leading interior‑design firm. The role blends strategic planning with hands‑on content creation, ensuring a consistent and engaging voice across all channels for a global audience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive digital communications strategies for both brands across Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok and other platforms.
• Create platform‑specific content calendars and oversee daily posting, community engagement and response management.
• Produce video and multimedia assets in collaboration with designers, using mobile photography and videography tools.
• Write and distribute press releases, manage media outreach and secure influencer partnerships.
• Run paid social campaigns to expand reach and drive brand awareness.
• Monitor social‑media metrics, prepare monthly performance reports and adjust tactics based on data insights.
• Maintain brand guidelines and ensure alignment between the personal brand and company messaging.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in social‑media management, digital communications or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to translate brand stories into engaging visual and textual content.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok.
• Basic mobile photography and videography.
• Social‑media analytics and reporting.
