About the role
The CNG Fleet Maintenance & Operation Manager will lead the daily operation, mechanical servicing and safety compliance of the company's compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicle fleet and related infrastructure in Nigeria.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for CNG vehicles.
- Monitor vehicle uptime, breakdowns, maintenance costs and performance metrics.
- Oversee CNG refuelling operations ensuring adherence to SOPs.
- Conduct vehicle safety inspections and CNG system checks.
- Maintain technical records, inspection reports, maintenance history and operational dashboards.
- Coordinate with OEMs, service providers and CNG station operators.
- Track CNG consumption, maintenance expenditure and other operational KPIs.
Required profile
- B.Sc./B.Eng. or HND in Mechanical, Automotive or Mechatronic Engineering.
- 2‑3 years hands‑on experience with CNG vehicles or conversion systems.
- Relevant certification in automotive maintenance, CNG technology or gas safety is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of HSE and CNG technical training.
Required skills
- Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Technical reporting of maintenance activities.
- CNG vehicle maintenance and conversion system expertise.
