Logistics and Supply Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics and Supply Coordinator will lead the planning, implementation and monitoring of logistics, supply and ICT activities for INTERSOS’s mission in Maiduguri, supporting humanitarian operations across North‑East and North‑West Nigeria. Reporting to the Head of Mission, the role ensures compliance with organisational standards and donor requirements while optimizing the impact of programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement logistics, supply and ICT strategies, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and donor protocols.
• Monitor procurement performance, maintain the pre‑qualified supplier list and oversee tender preparation and contract management.
• Manage fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption tracking and ensure compliance with security and brand guidelines.
• Oversee warehouse storage, inventory checks and the accurate use of the INTERSOS Management Platform (IMP) for logistics reporting.
• Coordinate facility and communications infrastructure, guaranteeing safe office and guesthouse conditions and reliable IT systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain or ICT management within humanitarian or similar complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of procurement policies, fleet management and warehouse operations.
• Ability to produce mission‑level SOPs, provide technical coaching and represent the organisation in coordination meetings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with INTERSOS Management Platform (IMP) or similar logistics software.
• Expertise in procurement planning and contract management.
• Fleet and transportation management skills.
• Inventory control and warehouse management.
