Chief Operating Officer

About the role

Rekrut Consulting is seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer to lead and optimise its manufacturing and supply chain functions. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence across plants, logistics and procurement while aligning with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies that support business goals.
• Drive efficiency, productivity and cost optimisation across all operations.
• Oversee end‑to‑end manufacturing, ensuring optimal plant performance, capacity utilisation and yield improvement.
• Manage procurement, inventory, warehousing, distribution and import logistics for additives, chemicals and raw materials.
• Optimise supply‑chain networks, supplier relationships and quality assurance processes.
• Ensure HSE, regulatory compliance and monitor operational KPIs.
• Control operational budgets, cost structures and capital investment planning.
• Lead, develop and succession‑plan plant, supply‑chain, logistics and operations teams.
• Collaborate with the CFO on budgeting, cost control and capital projects.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Degree in a related field.
