Chief of Staff

About the role

The Chief of Staff acts as the primary strategic partner to the CEO/COO, translating the leadership team’s vision into concrete results. You will bridge the executive office with HR, Engineering, Finance, and Sales, driving governance, high‑priority projects, and executive decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of OKRs and KPIs to align departmental goals with the 2026 corporate strategy.
• Coordinate executive leadership meetings, prepare agendas, capture action items, and ensure follow‑through.
• Serve as a surrogate for the Principal in meetings where their influence is required.
• Partner with HR and Finance to streamline payroll automation, performance management cycles, and policy enforcement.
• Identify and resolve cross‑departmental workflow bottlenecks.
• Manage the executive office budget and allocate resources for special initiatives.
• Lead high‑stakes projects without a natural home, such as international expansion, new product launches, or sponsorship negotiations.
• Conduct market research, due diligence, and draft executive communications, board decks, and internal memos.
• Maintain relationships with investors, regulatory bodies, and institutional partners, providing candid feedback to the CEO.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science or related field; MBA or Master’s in Industrial‑Organizational Psychology is a strong advantage.
• 6–10 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a leadership role within a fintech/tech startup.
• Advanced data analysis and financial modeling capabilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• High emotional intelligence, discretion, and a results‑driven mindset.
