Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Real Estate Development

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will provide strategic financial leadership for Elvaridah Limited, a real‑estate development firm based in Lagos. Reporting to the Group Managing Director / CEO, the CFO will oversee all financial functions, ensuring the company’s growth objectives are met while maintaining financial sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
• Lead long‑term financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and capital allocation decisions.
• Structure project financing for residential, commercial, mixed‑use and infrastructure developments.
• Conduct financial feasibility studies and monitor project profitability, cash‑flow performance and ROI.
• Manage treasury functions, cash‑flow planning, working‑capital requirements and relationships with banks, investors and private‑equity firms.
• Lead debt financing, refinancing and capital‑raising initiatives to optimise the capital structure.
• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and ensure compliance with IFRS.
• Lead financial due diligence for acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic investments.

Required profile

• Reports directly to the Group Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer.
• Full‑time employment in Lagos, Nigeria.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
