Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) – Armed Forces

About the role

We are seeking an accomplished Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead business development and revenue generation for our portfolio within Nigeria's Armed Forces. This founding commercial leadership position requires credible relationships with the military establishment and a proven record of securing high‑value institutional contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a commercial strategy for the Armed Forces portfolio, delivering first‑year cash collection targets.
• Identify, qualify and convert institutional opportunities into contracts and ensure payment collection.
• Establish and maintain senior stakeholder relationships within the Armed Forces, documenting institutional knowledge.
• Build and manage an active pipeline, lead proposals, negotiations and contract discussions.
• Own commercial performance of the assigned portfolio, reporting quarterly to the Board and aligning with company objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian laws, public‑sector procurement regulations and company governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Management, IT or related field.
• Senior commercial leadership experience with a track record of closing high‑value government contracts.
• Current, verifiable relationships with senior decision‑makers in the Nigerian Armed Forces.
• Understanding of public‑sector procurement, budget approvals and defence technology markets.
• Experience in defence contracting, security‑sector technology, or similar regulated industries is strongly preferred.
