Chef (Full-time)

About the role

Skye Foodies is seeking a motivated Chef to join its kitchen team in Ibadan. The role involves preparing a variety of dishes, maintaining high food quality, and supporting the growth of the menu in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare meals using grilling, baking, frying and other cooking techniques.
• Inspect food for taste, temperature and presentation before service.
• Design new recipes and seasonal specials.
• Train, supervise and schedule kitchen staff.
• Monitor inventory, order fresh ingredients and control food costs.
• Enforce hygiene standards and maintain a clean, safe kitchen.

Required profile

• OND qualification minimum.
• 1‑2 years experience in pastries and small chops, grills, Nigerian dishes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a busy kitchen.
• Willingness to learn and maintain high standards of hygiene.
