Chartered Accountant – Real Estate Finance

About the role

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant to join our growing real‑estate firm in Ilorin. The successful candidate will be responsible for day‑to‑day financial accounting, ensuring accurate records and supporting strategic decisions for our property investment projects.

Key responsibilities

• Post transactions, maintain general ledgers and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare periodic financial statements, cash‑flow reports and management accounts.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and monitor project‑related expenses and revenues.
• Handle statutory compliance, including tax filings, regulatory reporting and liaison with auditors and banks.
• Support internal controls, risk management and process improvements to protect company assets.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with proven experience as a Chartered Accountant in a corporate setting.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and cash‑flow management, preferably within real‑estate or investment sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
