About the role
Gusto Restaurant is looking for a detail‑oriented Cashier to manage point‑of‑sale transactions and keep accurate financial records. You will work in a fast‑paced restaurant environment, ensuring smooth payment processing for every guest.
Key responsibilities
- Process cash, card, and mobile payments using the restaurant POS system.
- Handle cash drawer operations, including cash intake and payouts.
- Reconcile sales and balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and report any discrepancies.
- Provide courteous service to customers during payment interactions.
Required profile
- Highly reliable and punctual.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
