Buyer – NPS (Supply) – Global Supply Chain

About the role

Reckitt is seeking an NPS Buyer to join its supply function. The role will manage procurement activities across key indirect‑material categories, ensuring cost‑effective and reliable supply for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Partner closely with factories, finance, supply and other teams to understand budgets and project requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to develop and execute sourcing recommendations.
• Analyse indirect‑material spend, assess category markets and translate insights into actionable procurement strategies.
• Identify, select and develop suppliers, negotiate contracts and drive service and quality improvements.
• Motivate suppliers to propose innovation and cost‑efficiency projects.
• Monitor risks and opportunities within each category and implement mitigation or improvement actions.
• Design, verify and amend contracts in partnership with the Legal function.
• Lead major CAPEX cost preparation for Nigerian operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or supply‑chain sourcing.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret spend data and market trends.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Demonstrated negotiation and contract‑management capabilities.
• Ability to drive continuous supplier‑performance improvement.
