About the role

The Operations Manager will oversee daily mining site activities, ensuring efficiency, productivity and safety across all functions.

Key responsibilities

Lead, mentor and motivate cross‑functional teams, providing guidance and professional development.
Monitor KPIs, analyse operational data and implement strategies to improve performance and reduce costs.
Oversee inventory management, logistics and supply‑chain processes to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure compliance with regulations, internal policies and HSE standards.
Communicate effectively with senior management, team members and external partners.
Drive continuous improvement by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
Prepare daily inventory, stock‑taking and operational activity reports.

Required profile

Proven leadership experience in managing large, multi‑disciplinary teams.
Strong analytical skills with a track record of optimizing resource allocation.
Excellent knowledge of compliance, risk management and safety standards.
