Business Services and Compliance Manager

About the role

The Business Services and Compliance Manager will lead Business Services activities across ACCA national offices in Nigeria and Mauritius. Reporting to the Regional Head of Business Services and Compliance – Africa, the role works closely with Market Heads to ensure risk management, compliance and facilities services are delivered effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and champion effective risk management across offices, ensuring robust controls and timely mitigation actions.
• Identify gaps in compliance processes and develop ad‑hoc solutions to address them.
• Lead the delivery of safety, health and environmental services for the offices.
• Provide contract management support for internal events, office supplies, logistics, taxis and drivers.
• Manage day‑to‑day office environment and oversee facilities service levels in line with the Global Property Asset Management Strategy.
• Administer the operational and capital budget, including annual submissions, re‑forecasting and variance reporting.

Required profile

• Strong listening and consultative approach, involving the right people at the right time.
• Ability to work independently and confidently in challenging situations.
• Bilingual in the regional language and English.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience, including supervision of commercial contracts and procurement.
• Project management experience delivering projects on time and within budget.
