Business Relationship Manager – Remote

About the role

Moniepoint Inc. is seeking a Business Relationship Manager to drive merchant acquisition and expand its fintech footprint. The role is fully remote and focuses on developing sales strategies, identifying growth opportunities, and building lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in business development activities and acquire new merchants for the bank’s products and services.
• Cross‑sell banking and fintech solutions, including POS devices and lending services.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and social media outreach.
• Create and execute marketing strategies to meet sales targets.
• Lead daily sales team meetings, review performance, and plan weekly actions.
• Maintain and deepen existing business relationships.
• Conduct market research to uncover selling opportunities and assess customer needs.
• Participate in trade fairs, community events, and cluster marketing activities.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations and gather customer feedback for internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 4‑5 years of sales experience, preferably in banking, fintech, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of the local financial services market.
• Proven experience in merchant onboarding and management.
• Experience selling lending services and POS devices to corporate clients is an advantage.
• Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a tertiary education from a recognised institution.
