Business Relationship Manager

About the role

Monipoint is seeking a Business Relationship Manager to drive business development and customer acquisition for its suite of financial products in Ekiti, Nigeria. The role focuses on expanding the bank’s client base, cross‑selling services and building lasting relationships with business customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers through cold calling, networking, social media and participation in trade fairs and community events.
• Promote and cross‑sell Monipoint’s banking, credit, overdraft and other financial products.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to meet sales targets.
• Conduct daily sales team meetings, review performance and plan weekly activities.
• Maintain and grow existing business relationships.
• Perform market research to uncover selling opportunities and assess customer needs.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations and gather feedback for internal teams.
• Recommend appropriate financial solutions based on client objectives.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of sales experience, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of the local financial services industry.
• Demonstrated business acumen and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Tertiary education from a recognised institution.
