Business Operations Manager

About the role

The Business Operations Manager will own day‑to‑day internal operations, ensuring systems, processes and workflows run efficiently. You will lead staff, enforce standards and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee internal operations, maintain SOPs and eliminate bottlenecks to improve efficiency, quality and output.
• Hold staff accountable to deadlines and quality standards, conduct performance reviews and, when necessary, terminate employees with founder approval.
• Supervise community‑engagement and social‑media teams, coordinate with designers and freelancers, and ensure timely, on‑brand deliverables.
• Track operational metrics, ensure compliance for digital products and online education, manage vendor relationships and basic HR functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Marketing or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in business operations or team leadership, preferably in online education, fintech or financial services.
• Proven ability to manage staff, address under‑performance and make tough staffing decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Project‑management tools such as Asana, Trello, ClickUp or Notion.
• CRM software like GoHighLevel.
• Familiarity with course platforms and email‑marketing tools (plus).
