Business Operations Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Business Operations Analyst to manage and optimise the full operational lifecycle of transactions, from deal sourcing to execution, monitoring, and recovery. The role works closely with the COO, Customer Service, Business Banking Officers, Credit & Risk teams, and other analysts to ensure seamless performance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and improve business processes to boost efficiency and productivity.
• Develop, implement and maintain operational policies, procedures and SOPs.
• Monitor performance metrics, provide actionable insights and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
• Oversee deal pipeline quality, enforce qualification standards and coordinate credit review and approval.
• Manage onboarding, documentation and disbursement activities, ensuring compliance and condition precedent satisfaction.
• Track fund utilisation, repayment schedules and portfolio performance; support recovery and risk‑management activities.
• Prepare operational, management and performance reports; support workflow digitisation and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in operations, banking, lending, financial services, fintech or business process management.
• Prior experience in a lending institution or fintech environment is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of operational workflows, transaction processing and process‑improvement methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
