Business Manager - Pastry Outlet

About the role

A competent, proactive and results-driven Business Manager is sought to oversee the daily operations of a pastry outlet. The successful candidate ensures operational efficiency, excellent customer service, product quality, effective staff management and achievement of business targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure revenue, profitability and product quality targets are met consistently.
• Monitor and drive high standards of production, productivity, quality and customer service.
• Coordinate inventory audits, keep stock levels right and order raw materials and finished goods on time to avoid stock-outs.
• Track sales performance, prepare budgets and manage cash flow.
• Develop strategies to identify market trends, boost revenue and grow the customer base.
• Train, supervise and manage staff to deliver excellent service.
• Maintain relationships with resellers and retail customers and run neighbourhood marketing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies on cash handling, product management, food safety and equipment maintenance.
• Generate operational and financial reports for senior management and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Graduate with 3-5 years of experience in restaurant, pastry outlet management or quick-service restaurant (QSR).
• Proven experience in restaurant or retail food sales.
• Leadership skills and ability to supervise and coordinate staff.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting and budgeting.
• Proficiency in marketing and customer engagement strategies.
